Hendry Vineyards, Napa Valley

This past January, Jon and Peter Pruden and Sabra Coe Young visited Hendry Vineyard's in Napa Valley during a trip out to California for the annual Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco.

We were welcomed by a wonderful young woman, Tamara Landre, who was so enthusiastic you would have thought she owned the vineyard. During our extensive training she spoke passionately about George Hendry, owner and winemaker, and his enthusiasm for growing grapes and making what we discovered were incredible wines.

George himself came in shortly after we arrived and gave us a warm welcome. You could tell by his stature that he loves what he does and it shows in his wines.

2003 Hendry Block 28 Zinfandel   $35.00
Hendry Block 28 Zinfandel is a full-bodied Zin with mouth filling overtones of black currents. It finishes with rich and well integrated tannins. There is nothing to dislike about this wine! Enjoy with grilled foods.
