Taste Unlimited Celebrates 35 Years With A Weekend-Long Anniversary Party

November 10, 2008 - Virginia Beach, VA

TASTE UNLIMITED® is throwing a 35th anniversary bash Saturday, November 29th and Sunday, November 30th at all six Hampton Roads locations.  Select items will be offered at 35% off—just in time for holiday shopping.  There will be in-store giveaways every 35 minutes from opening until closing (winners must be present), as well as products to sample.

Founder Peter Coe opened the company’s first location at Hilltop in Virginia Beach in 1973.  “When I started Taste Unlimited, my vision was to offer product and service that was not available elsewhere.  Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and soon thereafter Chesapeake embraced the fact that they could have a food and wine shopping experience here that was previously available only in larger cities.  Taste Unlimited was immediately a smash hit,” Coe recalls fondly.  The company now employs 100 people between its six locations and corporate offices.

Taste Unlimited® has long been known for distinctive sandwiches prepared with their famous house dressing on freshly baked breads. The company also offers wines and cheeses hand-selected by Peter Coe, gourmet gift baskets and corporate gifts, an extensive array of Virginia-made products, party platters and box lunches, and an exclusive line of Taste™ products--including homemade cheese spreads and crocks, signature nuts and nut mixes, cheese straws, cookies, and other items.  For store hours, more information, or to shop online, visit www.tasteunlimited.com.
