TASTE® has grown well beyond its beginnings as a single wine and cheese shop in 1973. Today, we have six locations throughout eastern Virginia, and we are known as much for our fresh-baked bread sandwiches with famous house dressing and unique gourmet gift baskets as we are for offering the region's most distinctive selections of wines and cheeses. Our buyers scour our own backyard as well as the rest of the world to stock our gourmet market with exceptional wines, cheeses, coffees, candies and so much more. Don't worry- we're not food snobs- we just know a good thing when we taste it and we want to share these pieces of the good life with you!
Our TASTE® product line features homemade cheese spreads, signature nuts and nut mixes, cheese straws and other delicious food and drink. Now you can even take a bottle of our house dressing home with you! If it has our name on it, you know it has been exhaustively taste tested and contains only the finest, often locally-sourced, ingredients.
Our wine collection is among the finest. We feature hand-selected wines that offer high quality for a reasonable price. Our selection runs the gamut from the hard-to-find, the best of Virginia, whimsical selections perfect for gifting, as well as affordable everyday selections. The unifying theme with all of our selections is great taste and we guaranty that you will not be disappointed with any wine purchased at TASTE®. We are also happy to special order wines for you and will extend a 10% discount on all case purchases, including split-cases.
No matter the occasion, a gift from TASTE® always impresses. Our custom gift baskets are thoughtfully assembled to your specifications, or choose from among our signature gift boxes. We also offer gift wrap services and shipping throughout the United States.
